Where are you located?
In Florence, Italy, town of the fine arts!

What is the best way to contact you and when are you available?
You can contact us by telephone, fax, regular mail or email. By email we are available 365 days a year, including nights, weekends and holidays. We respond to emails immediately and we are always happy to help.

Do you only offer paintings and not posters?
Yes, that is correct. We ONLY sell 100% hand painted oil paintings by the most skilled artists. We recreate the genuine oil paintings brushstroke by brushstroke, the same way the Old Masters recreated the originals by using quality canvas, quality brushes and quality paints. We do not use posters that are glazed, nor giclees. All our paintings are hand painted using timeless techniques passed down from generation to generation like the Old Masters used.

Can you explain the techniques used by the Artist to make such beautiful oil paintings?
Yes, we are happy to help and review the process. All of our oil paintings are hand-painted on a blank canvas by very talented artists. Just like the Old Masters use to paint.
Riproduzionidarte's oil paintings are museum and portrait quality hand painted, in excellent condition and are not photographs, not giclees and not posters that have been transferred to canvas and not prints that have been glazed.

Do the Riproduzionidarte artists sign the paintings?
Most of our artists sign the paintings with their name. If you prefer the paintings not be signed, please let us know at the time of your order and we are happy to help.

Can you reproduce paintings from my images which are not on your website?
Yes, we can reproduce an oil painting from any print, .jpg visual, poster, photograph, etc. The prices for custom recreations will be priced according to the size and detail of the subject. If you have the name of the artist and image, or have a visual which you can either mail or email to us, please click here to request a custom image.

Does this include portrait paintings too?
Yes, we can reproduce a hand-painted oil on canvas portrait painting from your photograph. Click here to request a custom image.

What if my photo is not clear and it is difficult to see the details?
We are happy to help and recommend that you email or mail us some other visuals too. The artists are very skilled and can use elements from a few photographs and combine them for your portrait painting.

What if I need something added, changed or removed from my photo because I do not want it included in the painting?
Not a problem at all! The artists have done this many times before and it is a very common request to make adjustments. There are no extra charges for us to do this for you. We want to make sure that your portrait comes out exactly like you have planned and we are happy to help.

If I mail or email a black and white photograph, can you make the painting in color?
Yes, absolutely! We have done this before and happy to help. Click here to see an example.

If I mail or email a photograph which is in color, can you make the painting in black and white?
Yes, absolutely! We have done this before and are happy to help.

Can you combine elements from different photographs to make one painting?
Yes, absolutely! We have done this before and are happy to help. We can take people, pets and other elements from different photographs and combine them together. All paintings are custom made and we can make them anyway that you would like.

This is the first time I am ordering a portrait painting. Do you have a guarantee policy to assure that I will be happy with the portrait?
Yes, we understand your concern and yes, we have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. That includes portrait paintings too!

Can I preview my portrait painting before my package is shipped?
Yes, absolutely! For all portraits, we always email a visual to our customers to approve the portrait. If from the visual, you see things that need to be fine-tuned, not a problem at all. The artist will make the adjustment and resend the visual for approval. Our artists are very skilled and the artist who will be painting your portrait specializes in portrait paintings and will do an amazing job.

How do we find the prices for your paintings?
For the Old Master paintings, when you search and click on a painting visual that you like, you will see the prices for the paintings in your shopping cart. The prices are listed for the standard sizes. If you are interested in ordering a different size, please contact us and we are happy to quote a price for you.
For the portrait paintings, they are priced by size and the number of people or pets. Please click here to request a custom image and we are happy to price your portrait for you.

Can I also order my portrait painting stretched and framed?
Shipping framed artwork is expensive and we can only provide stretching and framing assistance to customers who are local to our Italy location.

What if I am looking for a particular painting that I do not have a visual of?
Not a problem at all! If you are not sure of the name of the image, we have a FREE search service to help locate your favorite images for you.

Can you reproduce the Old Masters?
Yes, we can reproduce the Old Masters. They are replicas and will look just like the original Old Masters.

Can you customize and change the faces in the Old Master's paintings?
Yes, absolutely. You can send us a great photograph and one of our artists will replace the Old Master's face with your face. The photograph that you send should have your face looking in the same direction as the person in the original painting. Please email a photograph in which the artist can clearly see your features. Can paintings be reproduced in sizes other than the size that is listed?
We use standard sizes on our website for the painting offerings, but we do offer the paintings in other sizes too. If you want to order the Old Master's original size or another size which will keep the same proportion of the original painting, we are happy to help.

What is the largest size painting that I can order?
There is no limit as to the size of the canvas that you can order. We specialize in Murals on Canvas and can make the painting any size that will work the best for you.

Do you sell original art?
Yes, we have many artists who offer original paintings. Please email and let us know what style painting you are looking for and we are happy to help. Click here to order original art.

Do you have a catalog that you can mail to me?
We do not have a catalog that we can mail since our inventory is changing daily.

Does Riproduzionidarte have an affiliate program?

How do I order?
It's easy to order at Riproduzionidarte. If this is your first time buying one of our Master Paintings, or if you are sending a gift to someone, you'll want to place items in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout through our secured site. If you are ordering one of our Custom Paintings, click here to view our detailed ordering process.

What if I am having trouble ordering my painting through your web site?
Not a problem at all! We are happy to help. Please email us and let us know which artist, image, size, preferred method of payment and we will make sure that everything goes smoothly for you. Click here to contact us.

How long does it take for the artist to paint the artwork?
Many paintings take approximately 12 to 14 days to complete depending upon the size and the detail of the image. If you have a deadline to meet, please let us know.
Once the artwork is completed, the painting needs to properly dry and then your package is immediately shipped. For larger paintings and paintings with a lot of detail, the paintings will take a little longer to complete. The whole process from the artist completing the oil painting, quality control, drying time and shipping takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

How can I pay?
All prices on our site are listed in Euro. We accept Visa and Master Card, or money orders drawn on a bank. All orders are confirmed within 24 hours of receipt.

Is it safe to use my Credit Card?
YES, it is definitely safe to use your credit card!
Riproduzionidarte uses a secured server to protect all information that is transferred electronically. Our secure server software is the industry standard and among the best software available today. For secured E-Commerce transactions, it encrypts all of your personal information including credit card numbers, name and address so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet.
We have a safe shopping guarantee. Riproduzionidarte will not sell or transfer any customer's personal information to third parties.

What if I do not feel comfortable ordering over the internet?
Not a problem at all! We do encourage our customers to place their orders over the internet using our secured online ordering system, but if you prefer not to use our online charging option, we are happy to help. If you feel more comfortable you can request us to email a credit card authorization form to you and you can fax or mail back the form to us or you can click here for the Credit Card Authorization form which you can print and send back to us.

Do you charge sales tax?
Riproduzionidarte.it's corporate office is located in Italy. We are required by law to collect 20% sales tax on orders being shipped within all the states of Europe Union.

How do I check the status of my order?
Please check your confirmation email to see the approximate scheduled delivery date. If you have any questions or need additional information, please email us.

Can I ship to a different location other than my billing address?

How much is shipping?
For Italy destinations, we offer FREE professional packaging, FREE handling, FREE insurance and FREE SHIPPING!!! For oversized paintings not listed on our website, we will review shipping options with you at the time you place your order.

How do you ship?
We are proud of our artwork and we make sure they are delivered to you in excellent condition. We pay for the shipping and insurance to assure that all packages arrive to you safely, securely and quickly. Orders are shipped via UPS and are shipped insured at no extra charge. International shipments are shipped via UPS or FedEx.

What if I want to order multiple paintings with different shipping addresses?
To accommodate this request you must place separate orders. Add your selection to the shopping cart and check out for each different shipping address. If you need assistance, please contact us and we are happy to help.

Do you sell wholesale?
Yes, Riproduzionidarte has a wholesale division. We wholesale directly to interior designers, architects, corporate art buyers, galleries, furniture stores, etc. Wholesale prices can be quoted for quantity purchases after proper credentials are provided to us. When requesting quantity wholesale prices, please include the name, location and type of business.

What is the guarantee on purchases?
SIMPLE... We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy or FULL MONEY REFUNDS on all artwork. NO RISK! NO SURPRISES! ALWAYS SHOP and BUY with confidence.
If, when you receive your visual or your painting, there are things which need to be fine-tuned, not a problem at all. The artists are happy to make the adjustments. When the adjustments are made, we email a visual for your approval and then send the painting.
Once again, if for any reason you are not happy with your painting, (which we know you will be), we will give you a 100% refund on ALL artwork.

Returns And Damages

What if my purchase arrives damaged?
All artwork is professionally packaged to assure a safe delivery. If in the unusual situation that your package does arrive damaged, please not to worry! You must email us within 3 days of receipt of merchandise so that we can immediately notify the shipper and work on replacing your artwork as soon as possible.
